Alain Delon (natural November 8, 1935) is a French actor, one of the better known outside his native united states.

Delon was natural around Sceaux, France and at 17 he enlisted around the French Marines, serving in Indochina as a parachute jumper. His breakthrough as a movie star come using Plein Soleil, a 1960 adaptation of Patricia Highsmith's The Talented Mr. Ripley. He besides gave wow performances within Luchino Visconti's The Leopard and, perhaps his finest moment, Le Samouraï. His late operate has non reached these heights, & his decline is characteristic of the nouvelle vague of French actors, such as Jean-Paul Belmondo.
